Update on Suffolk Downs Redevelopment
The redevelopment of Suffolk Downs is one of the biggest issues presently facing our community. With the potential to add up to 10,000 units of housing within a brand new neighborhood, this development will shape the future of our community for years to come.I recently submitted a 13 page comment letter about the redevelopment proposal – you can read it here.
While I am concerned about the impacts this development will have on our community, I also believe that this project offers us a unique opportunity to improve our neighborhood’s transportation infrastructure, receive community benefits, and help address our need for new affordable housing units.
